NXY Benchmark
The rules-based reference level calculated from approved DXY and cNGN-per-USD observations under the published methodology.
Methodology-derivedInstitutional Naira Market InfrastructureProtocol v1.0
Naira Index (NXY) is a blockchain-native benchmark that tracks the performance of the Nigerian Naira relative to the U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) through governed, on-chain infrastructure on BNB Smart Chain.
One system. Three distinct layers.
The rules-based reference level calculated from approved DXY and cNGN-per-USD observations under the published methodology.
Methodology-derivedThe oracle, validation, publication, governance and analytical infrastructure that makes accepted observations independently verifiable.
On-chain infrastructureA transferable BEP-20 digital asset that supports access to NXY data, analytics, licensing and protocol-participation services.
Market-priced ecosystem assetThe NXY token is an operational, market-priced BEP-20 digital asset that supports access and participation within the NXY ecosystem. It is separate from the NXY benchmark, is not a tokenized Naira or stablecoin, carries no claim on fiat reserves or redemption rights, and does not equal or automatically track the published NXY benchmark level.
A transparent reference for a consequential currency
Nigeria’s currency environment is observed across official market infrastructure, institutional data services, digital markets and public macroeconomic sources. NXY converts approved observations into one reproducible benchmark output without operating an FX market or intervening in the Naira.
Market participants may encounter different prices, timestamps and methodologies across data venues.
A published rate is more useful when independent observers can reconstruct the calculation and verify its inputs.
Traditional distribution can make publication history, revisions and governance actions difficult to inspect.
Financial applications require consistent timestamps, precision, validation rules and dependable data access.
Economic definition
A unitless ratio that rises when the Naira strengthens relative to the U.S. Dollar, all else equal, and falls when the Naira weakens.

NXY is a fully implemented and operational BEP-20 digital asset on BNB Smart Chain, serving as the access and participation layer for benchmark data, analytics, licensing, oracle participation, governance and ecosystem integrations.
Supply architecture and market discipline
NXY has a fixed maximum and total supply of 100 billion tokens, minted at initialization to the protocol treasury. Circulation, holder concentration and subsequent distribution are determined from verifiable on-chain transfers; neither market capitalization nor fully diluted valuation is prescribed by the protocol.
The deployed token fixes the 100 billion maximum supply and completed the full mint at initialization.
Any time-based allocations are administered through disclosed beneficiaries, schedules, contracts and wallet addresses.
Treasury activity is governed through permitted uses, approval controls, reporting and transparent on-chain wallets.
Official liquidity venues disclose pair contracts, ownership, lock status, market-making rules and withdrawal authority.
Official NXY access portal
Any activated purchase facility identifies the official token contract, sale or liquidity-pool contract, accepted payment assets, pricing basis, buyer eligibility, transaction limits and applicable risk terms.
No verified sale contract or official liquidity pair has been connected to this interface.
The button remains disabled until an authorized and verified acquisition route is published.
Public financial infrastructure
The protocol separates data submission from policy validation, canonical publication, compliance administration, analytical access and delayed governance execution. This limits unilateral control and preserves a public record of accepted observations.
DXY and cNGN-per-USD observations under a published source hierarchy.
Signed observations across defined signer classes and quorum requirements.
Source, methodology, signer, timing and sequence validation.
Canonical observations, continuity and immutable historical references.
Protocol coordination and read-optimized external integration.
Delayed and observable configuration and upgrade execution.
Canonical deployment registry
The Core Proxy is the canonical NXY token and protocol entry point. Any official sale or liquidity-pool contracts are disclosed separately when activated.
Security and operational assurance
Institutional operation requires continuing disclosure of independent review, privileged controls, incident procedures and outstanding risks with the same precision used for contract addresses.
No third-party smart-contract audit report is identified in the current public presentation.
Publication requiredCanonical protocol addresses are provided for inspection on BNB Smart Chain.
Verify independentlyA funded responsible-disclosure or bug-bounty program should accompany material public use.
Program requiredRoles, delay duration, proposers, executors and emergency authority are subject to continuing public disclosure.
Disclosure incompleteObservable control with defined limits
Administrative authority maintains source sets, authorized signers, validation parameters, methodology versions and incident procedures. Benchmark publication remains subject to oracle validation and chronological controls.
Define the exact administrative action.
Commit the action to the timelock.
Observe the mandatory delay.
Record the authorized change on-chain.

Accountability
Created by Simon Kapenda, NXY operates as open-source, blockchain-native benchmark and digital-asset infrastructure on BNB Smart Chain. Its institutional accountability framework identifies the benchmark administrator, token issuer, jurisdiction, responsible officers and formal contact channels independently from technical deployment.

Risk and legal disclosures
NXY depends on the accuracy, licensing, availability and timeliness of external DXY and cNGN-per-USD observations.
Authorized participants, signing systems, source sets or validation infrastructure may fail or provide incorrect observations.
Deployed code may contain vulnerabilities, integration defects or unforeseen behavior, including in upgrade mechanisms.
Authorized actions may change signers, sources, thresholds, methodologies, contracts or other protocol parameters.
Availability and finality depend on BNB Smart Chain, including its consensus, congestion and execution environment.
The NXY token may experience substantial volatility, illiquidity, price manipulation or complete loss of market value.
Benchmark and digital-asset requirements differ by jurisdiction and may restrict issuance, distribution, trading or use.
The token price is market-determined and may diverge materially and permanently from the NXY benchmark level.
Naira Index (NXY) is rules-based, blockchain-native benchmark infrastructure that provides analysts, policymakers, economists, researchers, and foreign-exchange market participants with a transparent and programmable reference for monitoring the Nigerian Naira within the global currency environment. Through authorized oracle submissions, defined validation controls, governed methodology administration, and auditable on-chain publication, NXY supports consistent analysis of currency strength, macroeconomic conditions, and market sentiment.
By bringing benchmark publication onto blockchain infrastructure, NXY supports machine-readable analytical access, reproducible financial modeling, historical observation, and the potential development of independently governed financial applications that reference Naira performance. Any third-party product or financial instrument referencing NXY remains subject to separate governance, licensing, risk controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.
NXY operates as a benchmark publication system. It does not operate a foreign-exchange market, execute or facilitate currency trades, maintain reserves of Nigerian Naira or U.S. Dollars, stabilize or intervene in currency markets, accept deposits, manage client assets, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, or continued publication of any benchmark observation.
The NXY token is distinct from the NXY benchmark. It does not represent a deposit, currency, fiat reserve, ownership interest, debt obligation, redemption right, or guaranteed claim on the benchmark or its administrator. Its market value is independently determined and may differ materially and permanently from the published NXY benchmark level. This website does not currently activate a token offer, sale, exchange, or transaction facility.
Neither the NXY benchmark nor the NXY token represents ownership of Nigerian Naira, U.S. Dollars, central-bank money, tokenized bank deposits, stablecoins, foreign-exchange reserves, or direct currency holdings. NXY operates as governed benchmark and digital-asset infrastructure advancing transparency, research, market intelligence, and responsible financial innovation.
